Your mission
- Ensure the security, scalability, performance, and reliability of our Azure Cloud infrastructure while actively working on enhancements and automation
- Supervise, further develop, and optimize our monitoring, alerting, and backup solutions
- Drive the automation of internal processes through the development of scripts and tools
- Provide support to the software engineering team by offering services and maintaining our CI/CD processes
- Contribute to the further development and maintenance of our cloud networking infrastructure
- Ensure the maintenance of system documentation and configuration documents
Your profile
- At least two years of professional experience as a DevOps/Cloud Engineer or in a similar position, demonstrating a sound understanding of DevOps principles and best practices
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a comparable degree.
- Strong experience in configuring and managing Azure platforms (VMs, storage, networking, etc.)
- Solid experience working with containerized workloads preferably Docker
- Experience in both script programming (ideally Go, Bash, Python) and Linux systems administration (including networking basics)
- Familiarity with IaC-workflows and -tools like Terraform.
- Any certificates in cloud technologies (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) and experience with other products from HashiCorp (Nomad, Consul, Vault) are an advantage
- Excellent communication skills along with proficient English and good German language skills (B1 level)
