Python developer for AI-based energy optimisation (m/f/d)

Location: Hybrid

Your mission

  • Development and maintenance of Python packages that process data and business logic for predictive energy control and AI-supported optimisations in buildings
  • Maintenance and further development of CI/CD pipelines for the automation and quality assurance of our solutions
  • Design and creation of scalable ETL data pipelines for the processing, visualisation and anomaly detection of time series data for intelligent energy optimisation
  • Work closely with our engineering team and external partners to develop and implement innovative solutions for the energy market
  • Long-term planning of feature development and cost-benefit analyses together with product owners and management to maximise the efficiency of our building control solutions

Your profile

  • Experience: At least three years as a Python developer or in a comparable role, with a focus on data engineering, software development and best practices
  • ExpertiseConfident handling of Python and common libraries (e.g. Pandas, NumpyScipySklearn), experience with Docker and Git, knowledge of SQL and NoSQL; knowledge of Java, Scala, or Kafka is an advantage
  • Languages: Profound knowledge of German (B2 level) and good knowledge of English
  • Soft skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as an analytical approach
